What makes Elephant Timber unique?

We are a small, family-run business, passionate about providing one-of-a-kind timber pieces to woodworkers, builders, cabinetmakers, interior designers, shopfitters and wood enthusiasts. Founded in 2016 by Carl, an experienced tree surgeon with a love for sustainable practices, we focus on sourcing timber locally to minimise our environmental impact.

Many of our trees are sourced from domestic gardens, felled due to ill health, storm damage, or overgrowth. By giving these trees a second life, we contribute to the preservation of our local environment and sustainability.

We welcome you to visit our timber shop to explore our range of wood slabs in person. Our shop is open Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 17:00. Please contact us at 07941 034 822 to schedule an appointment, as we are not always onsite. Weekend or out-of-hours appointments can be arranged upon request.

Delivery and packaging

We offer door-to-door overnight courier services for regular-sized timber pieces. Delivery costs are calculated during checkout on our online shop. For larger pieces, delivery costs vary based on size, delivery type and location.
