Terms & Conditions

If you use this website – https://elephanttimbersupplies.co.uk – you are regarded as having read and accepted the following Terms and Conditions, or if you place an order with the seller, the buyer agrees to be bound by these terms. If you do not accept these terms, you may not use this site or access or display any of the information made available to you.


All items are priced in pounds sterling exclude VAT at the standard rate. Although the seller makes every effort to ensure that published prices are as accurate as possible the seller reserves the right to refuse the sale of mis-priced items.


Any delivery the seller arranges will be priced separately. Any delivery date or delivery time is for guidance only and the seller shall not be responsible for any costs incurred by the buyer in the event of late delivery. Should the buyer be unavailable to accept the goods at time of delivery then the buyer shall bear the cost of any re-delivery. If the goods have been damaged during delivery and the seller feels the situation cannot be improved by authorizing another delivery, then we reserve the right to refund the buyer in full for the order and cancel the order. The seller refuses to accept responsibility for any loss or damage to goods shipped by couriers arranged independently.


Occasionally stock advertised online will be sold, as it is also available to visitors at our premises but will still appear to be available online until our computer system has been updated. In this event we will inform you as soon as possible and either offer you a full refund or supply you with a suitable replacement piece.

Returns Policy
If the buyer has received their order and no longer requires it then it may be returned at the discretion of the seller by prior arrangement. If a return is agreed then the buyer has to arrange transport to the sellers premises at the buyers expense and once the goods have been inspected by the seller then they will decide if any credit is due.

If the buyer receives damaged or incorrect goods then they should inform the seller within 7 days. The seller will then arrange to collect the goods and once inspected and if found to be damaged or incorrect, will either refund or replace the goods. The seller does not accept any responsibility for items damaged in transit by couriers arranged independently.

Items collected in person are sold as seen and will not be considered for a refund.
