A waney or live edge refers to a natural, unfinished edge of a wooden slab that retains the original shape, bark, or outer layer of the tree. This edge is typically left uncut and irregular, showcasing the natural contours of the wood, including the curve and texture of the tree’s exterior.

Our wood slabs can be supplied in their natural state, ready for you to sand, seal and oil. Or we can supply you with a fully sanded, oiled live edge table top, ready to be used once you have added table legs of your choice.
